· Role : Senior Data Engineer
· Remuneration : 100K SGD annual + Other variables
· Location : Singapore
We are looking for someone who has experience in development lifecycle of applications, from concept and design right through to testing.
Jobs Task:
· Understand and implement data engineering best practices
· Defines application objectives by analyzing user requirements provided by the Data Science team
o Generate architecture recommendations and implement them by designing database architecture and server scripting
o Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and other alternatives
Requirements:
§ 5+ years experience in software development and deploying production quality code
§ Experience in one or more object-oriented languages, including Python, Java, or Scala for data processing
§ Deep understanding of modern databases and strong data modeling skills
§ Experience with service-to-service API integration and consuming data from 3rd party SaaS application APIs
§ Ability to use version control systems; Bitbucket preferred
§ Extensive knowledge of modern software development lifecycle and practices
§ Self-driven, highly motivated, innovative
