Role Purpose /Background/Nature of Work  

Mobile platform owner within the Business, with a focus to drive optimization of the companies App as a direct-to-consumer sales and servicing channel as part of the wider organization’s overall Mobile First strategy. 

Act as the key facilitator between Business product owners and the Technology team to deliver digital and financial objectives. 

Good knowledge of consumer behaviour and preferences with a focus on customer experience within the App, as well as understanding of consumer financial services and products. 

Evolve and execute the roadmap for the mobile ecosystem for consumers and subsequently financial advisors, with the end goal of becoming a market-leading and fully integrated and interconnected insurance and financial services provider via Mobile. 

Resource Complexity  

Individual contributor role working in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, in particular Business product owners, and the Digital, Design, Marketing and Technology teams. 

Full ownership of the Mobile platform to build up product sales capability and servicing functionalities, with good understanding of the Business operating model across systems. 

Business oriented mindset with shared responsibility to drive mobile engagement and customer satisfaction as part of the team’s digital objectives, based on data analytics, integration and interaction of information and systems, strategic acumen. 

Critical partner to Business product owners to realize product sales and related financial targets. 

Problem Solving 

Ability to translate often complex Business requirements and concepts into successful outcomes and customer journeys within the App. 

Problem-solving and critical thinking skillsets key to drive collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams. 

Must be able to manage resource prioritization according to Business needs and drive multiple concurrent mobile projects. 

Change  

Contribute to the mobile and broader digital roadmap within the Mobile First Strategy. 

Able to adapt as well as take initiative to drive change related to integration and potential consolidation of the group mobile platforms for the Consumer and FA Businesses. 

Internal Network  

Works in close collaboration with all stakeholders, in particular Marketing, Business Product Owners, Design and Technology teams.  

Able to influence internal partners and stakeholders to drive agile ways of working for delivery of Business objectives and execution according to agreed timelines. 

External Network  

Work with and manage appropriate external service providers to ensure success of the operating model as required. 

Risk Management and Governance 

To self-identify issues arising from controls weaknesses (inadequate/ineffective controls) notes from control assessments, risk events/incidents that events 

Education Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree holder in any of the following related disciplines will be advantageous: Business Information Systems, Digital & Technology Solutions, Finance, Economics, Business  

Required Capability: 

Self-driven, highly motivated and high-performing individual  

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in consumer financial services, preferably in Business/Digital/Tech roles  

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage stakeholders to deliver organizational
